Motivation for Fitness:
Adel has always had a passion for fitness and a sport which is what, motivated him to enter the field. He earned his undergrad degree at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), during which time he completed several internships working with a variety of different populations. His internship included working at Suburban Physical Therapy in Rocky Hill, CT, assisting with patient rehab care. His other internship experiences included working with residents of St. Lucians, an assisted living home in New Britain, CT, and Rugged Fitness in Wethersfield, CT as a personal trainer, and strength coach. Adel is actively pursuing his Master’s Degree in Exercises Science from CCSU.
Adel is currently training competitive martial arts fighters, seniors with limitations, runners of varies events and managing a corporate health and fitness center. He teaches group classes, private training, administers fitness testing, and helps people of all walks of life get stronger and healthier.
Adel is a proponent for a balanced training approach. He believes all types of physical training have merit in achieving ones goals. He believes in kettlebells, barbells, machines, and bodyweight training all have a place in a balanced program. To further his coaching Adel has extensively studied, and received coaching hands on coaching for barbell training, yoga, Pilates and kettlebell training. He is one of only three individuals to achieve the Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) certification, in the state of CT. He uses all these methods and more in his own training, to improve as competitive mixed martial arts fighter, and that of his clients.
