Motivation for Fitness
I have been providing massage-therapy relief to people for more than twelve years. The combination of teaching yoga and providing massage to many of my clients helps me empower them to achieve their wellness goals by focusing on mind and spirit as well as body.
On yoga: My journey has taken me from curiosity, to body building, to massage and physical exploration, to various types of yoga, to new levels of learning and healing for mind and body….the journey continues. I was initially inspired by, and remain heavily influenced by, Vinyasa-style practices. My training began with Baptiste Power Yoga® and I have always been passionate about my Anusara® Yoga practice.
I furthered my journey by completing a KRI Level One Certification program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi BhajanÂ®. I have taken teacher training with Baron Baptiste and Todd Norian and numerous workshops and trainings with Desiree Rumbaugh, Shiva Rea, Tias Little, Seane Corn, Ana Forrest, Jill Miller, and Bryan Kest.
